WEBCON has been operating a JESC at Berhampore, Murshidabad, under the project on "Small Scale Entrepreneurship Development on Diversified Jute Products" with NCJD as the implementing agency under the aegis of International Jute Study Group, Dhaka. WEBCON also operates two Jute Service Extension Centres, one each at Port Blair and Gangtok to help promote artisans/ SHGs and small entrepreneurs through training and escort services to take up jute diversified projects.

WEBCON has embarked on a package of services called Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development (STED) Project at the instance of Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India for promotion of micro-enterprises based on Technology inputs as well as for generation of employment in selected districts of West Bengal, Sikkim and A&N Islands.
