WEBCON has become an integral part of cluster development initiative of Govt. of India and Govt. of West Bengal to enhance the productivity and competitiveness as well as capacity building of the small enterprises in the clusters. WEBCON, with its professionals trained as Cluster Development Executives (CDE) and Technical Advisers (TA), have carried out Diagnostic Studies and prepared Cluster Development Action Plans for several clusters. At the instance of Deptt. of MSSE, GoWB, WEBCON is now acting as the implementing agency for development of four clusters viz, Fan manufacturing in Kolkata, Shuttle Cock manufacturing in Uluberia, Rice Milling in Bardhaman and Cashew Nut processing in Contai. Under the aegis of the Coir Board , WEBCON is also acting as the Cluster Development Agency for development of Coir cluster at Rangat in A&N Islands.
